About Maverix Royalty deal?

About Maverix Royalty deal?Correct me if I m wrong
the deal isn’t fully settled. Still a week or so for it to be confirmed?
Originally, Maverix should get 5 mil cash +35 mil share(.50/share=17-18 mil cad). Now they only getting US 18 mil(23-24 mil cad)?
Now my question, compare to first deal, 5 mil + 35 mil share at .70 cents now(~24.5 mil cad). Will Maverix take the loss of 5 mil ?
what if Maverix rejects the agreement ?
