Why a share price goes down is quite simple: There are more sellers than buyers.. Regular shorting and intraday non-reportable shorting tips the scale in favour of the sellers (bears) .When a sector is in a mini-bearmarket like the junior golds are now, the liquidity is very low and that means no buyers. The share price is very easy to manipulate down in such an environment. As the share price drops, investors start to panic and many start to sell their shares...It's a vicious circle.. There is one thing that the company can do and that is to buy back shares through the NCIB . Hopefully they start buying back large chunks of the shares....
