RE:RE:RE:Some hopeIt may just be a matter of BHP keeping the refinary open. KRR has very pure high grade nickel to help feed the plant.
This helps to lower costs as well as CO2 emmissions. Indonesia is polluting like crazy with coal mines being used to refine the nickel into concentrate. That's a result of their nickel being so dirty. Now they want to keep the nickel at home to refine it further for downstream purposes. That will compound the issue.
An effort to use green nickle would help big time. Unfortunately, all the battery manufacturers want their materials for cheap. And, they are and will continue to circumvent obstacles.
