My guess is , the new third party is probably Northern Star

My guess is , the new third party is probably Northern Star Northern Star owns the Jubilee Mill which is about 15 kms north of Beta Hunt and Spargos. Krr (Royal Nickel) was supposed to have bought the mill in 2017-2018 but the deal fell through.  Instead Krr bought the higginsville mill from the same australian gold company that owned the Jubilee mill and Northern Star bought the Jubillee mill for about 70-80 million canadian dollars.

In 2022 Northern Star had put the Jubilee mill on care and maintenance but I don't know if it's back online.. They have about 4 million low-grade ounces in the land package around the mill, that proved un-economic . They also had a big problem getting enough workers as the Covid lockdowns  caused major labour shortages . I believe they bought the mill with the intention of eventually buying out Beta Hunt.

In the late november/2023 krr news release, Huet stated that Spargos had 64,000 ounces at 4.6 g/t grade. Was Huet stating  this to bait Northern Star? Don't know..

But if this third party is not Northern Star ,  it will be Gold Fields who own a large mill just east of Higginsville and Beta Hunt and need lots of gold ore to feed their I think it's like a 4.8 million ton/year mill ( Don't quote me on this)..

Silver Lake is an intermediate gold producer just east of Higginsville that may be interested in merging with KRR.

The 4th potential suitor for KRR could be the nickel producer west/south west of KRR that are owned by that billionaire. That huge nickel deposit is probably mostly idle right now, but could really do well to buy out Krr..

Anyway, that's my speculation..
