Lifecos bounce back hard on ex divvy date

All 4 up this morning early, but as we have witnessed, the exuberant buying does NOT always last all day.

Q3 results

Lifecos will report Q3 results soon starting with iaG on Nov. 7th, MFC and GWO Nov. 8th and SLF on Nov. 13th.

LCS unit nav to OCt 27 = $14.70

That is before distributions , which amount to about 23 cents. SO commons true value today, is only $4.47 after distributions. Need a lot better financial environment  for equities to get back to ...more

Brompton updates LCS unit nav OCT 26@ $14.91

So was a penny low on my estimate, so it is very likley LCS went to more cash with the pending payment to Preferreds added onto the distributions to the commons.

To get there, it would involve a retracement of about half the decline in the SP of the lifecos since the beginning of September which is not totally unrealistic. But even if they miss,  and LCS ...more

So the udpate from Brompton tomorrow should show this number , as ex div date is not until monday. Commons would have a value of $4.90 before distributions are figured in , but only $4.67 after they ...more
