Yes it usually has a stigma attached and for a while does not help the stock price
However, Getting on the US exchange in the long run should help as they get the new company going.
As Lee has said , a long term speculative investment :) 
Put a few in the drawer and your grandkids will be happy 
I will vote Yes on the reverse split
