The global battery energy storage market size was valued at around US$9-10 Billion in 2021. If Bloomberg’s prediction of 30% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in the market came through we would be talking about +US$50 Billion by 2030. The global battery energy storage market is vastly dominated by lithium-ion. The global VANADIUM redox battery market which is estimated to be ~US$238 Million in 2022 and expected to reach ~$593 Million by 2026, growing at 20% CAGR, represents just a tiny fraction of the total global battery storage market but it surely is big enough for LCE to make money from now to 2026. Management just needs to deliver.
