It is likely that we will miss the analyst consensus again in Q1-22.  Radio silence on the battery front other than the focus on completing the tiny first sales which occurred a year ago.

sadly, i agree. also, the drift lower over the past few weeks in V price is not helping. this group of fools might be the worst public co mgmt team i have ever encountered.   they are fools.

Q1-22  sales =  2,232T = The lowest sales volume since over a year while the average V2O5 benchmark price = ~US$10.50/lb, the highest since the start of 2021. Q4-21 Sales = 2.899T Q3-21 Sales = 2,685T Q2-21 Sales = 3,027T Q1-21 Sales = 2,783T Q1-22 sales = 2,232T = 4.92M lbs Even if we assumed a very generous sale price per pound of V2O5 equivalent = US$10.50/lb, Q1-22 Sales ...more

That's gross! That said, they did a decent job of telling us this in the annual call So hopefully it's priced in at this level.

I stand corrected, it wasn't priced in

they deserve zero credit. if anything, they detract from the underlying bet which is simply on the price of V.  these guys make mistake after mistake, mostly misslead and communicate poorly.  they deliver on nothing on time and their CFO has no issue dumping shares anytime he can.  V goes up, they simply look less stupid.  V goes down, they are revealed for the fools they are.  ...more

I can't disagree with much you have said.....i was more just pointing out that normally 2,300 would have been a complete surprise to me, this time I knew that's where it would be from the annual call. 15M is my number for Q1 (2,300*2,200*$3.00) 24M is my number for Q2-Q4 (3,100*2,200*$3.5) I think these guys need $7 vanadium to make a dime now with carrying thr battery ...more

Did you expect a net loss before tax of $337K out of a revenue of $50.3M in Q4-21? Don't underestimate the capability of this management team to mess things up. I say that we would be extremely lucky to see US$10-11 in net income before tax for Q1-22.

I was very "animated" about the Q4 results. I'm still not clear on what the hell all those costs were about in Q4. My feeling going into 2022, especially after prices started to elevate was all they had to do was not screw up and we could see some real sp grow, just solid/consistent results for 4 quarters.  I still believe that's possible, although as Cooperman would point ...more
