“Upon completion of the Qualifying Transaction, it is expected that the Resulting Issuer will be a publicly listed physical vanadium holding company that will purchase and hold physical vanadium, providing investors with ownership and exposure to vanadium”

Resulting Issuer = LPV = a publicly listed company

The future of LPV depends totally on the success or failure of Largo / LCE.

Other than Arias et al why would investors be interested in buying LPV stock? Especially when Largo is an illiquid stock stuck in the bargain basement? Especially when there is still doubt about the future of LCE?

Why would Largo shareholders want to invest in LPV to hold physical vanadium and have more exposure to vanadium?

If this hard-to-understand blah blah blah is meant to attract me to LPV then it doesn’t work.

“Column and LPV are also pleased to announce that, further to their joint press release dated February 24, 2022, LPV has closed a first tranche of its previously-announced brokered private placement (the "Financing") of subscription receipts of LPV ("Subscription Receipts") by issuing 15,110,000 Subscription Receipts at a price of $2.00 per Subscription Receipt, for gross ...more

curious .. how are we really benefiting as shareholders of LGO? is this simply creating a long term source of demand? is it at all possible, that we are seeing a razzle dazzle form of asset stripping taking place here?

Seriously,...a convoluted deal if ever there was one,...beware, this company has been underperforming for many quarters to say the least, the only ones making money are those on the  payroll,..and the manipulators 001, 079, who take this stock anywhere they want.A razzle dazzle scheme (Thankyou Ninja) sounds about right,...guaranteed to benefit someone,...probably not you,...sorry, hard to be ...more

My head is spinning trying to figure out what you described as "a convoluted deal " and also described as a "razzle dazzle scheme", which to me look even understated. Somehow, maybe just somehow, the purpose is to create a working rental/leasing of V2O5/V2O3/etal electrolyte for the general VRFB manufacturing entities, including LGO's LCE, in their attempts to be able to ...more

My bad on the LGO initial commitment to LPV Corp of 200 metric tonnes V2O5:  this would be only a small part of their ~10,000 + annual metric tonne production and global ~100,000+ metric tonne production. My above comment about MM and global commitment is wildly wrong. My apologies.

Again, my apologies for my mind misreading of "mtonnnes" as "1000tonnes" rather than "metrictonnes" I need to stop making early morning posts, especially on such a "convoluted deal,  razzle, dazzle scheme". The 200 mtonnes contribution of LGO in lbs will be 2,205x200, or 441,000 lbs, and the financial contribution those lbs times the agreed upon V2O5 ...more

Paul Vollant as the CEO? A guy who has never been a CEO in his life? A guy known for lying to the public is now the voice / face of LPV? That says it all.
Comment by ninja123 on Apr 20, 2022 9:20am
exactly!   i want to view this objectively, but having this putz as CEO sort of gets in the way of objectivity.
