What the hell happened this morning?!

Dividend increase was announced a week ago, and no news lately?  But the stock tanks 5.25%?

Ex dividend today and a move by TD to hold from buy.

The classic record date/ex-date mixup. You need to own the stock absolute latest 2 days PRIOR to date of record so in our case Monday June 28 at the close was the last chance to purchase as the following day, Tuesday June 29, is the ex-dividend (too late to become a shareholder of record in time for the div) and Wed June 30 is the date of record which takes 2 business days to become a shareholder ...more

Definitely ex date sellers. Iron price doing just fine. Buyers will come back gradually as next quarter dividend will be juicy as well.
