RE:Liquor Stores Banners and Dividend

RE:Liquor Stores Banners and Dividendjimmy/russ:  Thanks for your posts.  I am in ON and have never seen the inside of a LIQ store anywhere so regret I cannot respond to your questions.
But most of us here, on either side of the proxy, are concerned of high operating costs, esp. salaries.  Perhaps we should express our views to management and the board. Can there be a better time?
I once wrote to BNS letting them know that I thought paying $200k/p.a to each board member for attending a dozen meetings was exhorbitant.  Heck one of them was a university president who attended that many meetings every day for her $600k pay.  Got back the usual mumbo jumbo of competitive structure, quality candidates etc But BNS has a $92billion  m/c whereas LIQ is a paltry $288million.  And yet we are paying $150k to the Chair?!!  It is time for a reduction in ALL payouts both Board and Management.
The only objective of the 7 point plan that has been achieved is the first one i.e. hiring expensive senior personnel. But the share price?????  Here is a case of you scratch my back and I scratch yours.  As the Board sets management salaries and its own.  And darn the shareholders.
