Did he cooked the books ?
We know now that Tony has been in talk with Tahoe for months and may be a year and he may have issued directives to expense as much as possible to show darker picture of LSG performance with the blessing of THO CEO. For exemple the production cost were $ 135 MM compared to $120 MM in 2014 for $ 15 MM more............. The exploration cost were $24 MM compared to $ 3MM in 2014 for an increase of $ 21 MM........ Depletion and depreciation was $ 80 MM compare to $ 72MM for an increase of $ 8MM in 2014. The total is $ 44 MM affecting the bottom line accordingly!!! So did Tony cooked the books ? Most probably to a '' certain'' point but we will never know for sure !! Tony we d'ont trust you any longer because you have betrayed all of us...

Bossu...A company like Goldcorp may wait and scoop everything once all the ground work is in place.

Yes, goldhappy, that is how large mining companies usually make their purchases...after most of the groundwork has been done so they know what they are buying. They are willing to pay for certainty. Keep drilling LSG; a more appropriate (higher) offer will come along.

Hey Bossu Dont think he cooked the books- no need, to get the change production costs up just mine the lo grade, the 24 mil was understandable. The 80 mil i have an issue with, doesnt the drill results from the 144 off set mine depletion Still think Tony got the mine and we got the shaft

He probably didn't do anything technically illegal, BUT, I think he orchestrated events to the favour of Tahoe. I think releasing the drill results earlier would have had a positive effect on the share price that would have necessitated a higher exchange ratio. IMHO
