Intersting, this would add huge volumes to Clara. "Perhaps Lucara can play a role there. Lucara is looking for third-party suppliers to sell rough through its Clara platform, which it claims is an innovative way to market goods according to the buyers’ polishing needs. While Clara has been a slow burn for the company, Lucara still claims that diamonds sold through the system gain a premium ...more

Also, Botswana's neighbour, Namibia, seems to be twitching. Maybe they've been trying Clara too? https://africanminingmarket.com/current-agreement-allows-namdia-to-buy-up-15-percent-ndtc-stock-until-2026/15226/

So far Lucara has been incapable of making any significant progress with Clara . We need a partner with reach that we don't have .  Who?
