I did a lot of reading last night from the local papers there. With the help of Google, I hope I didn't lose much in translation but it boiled down to good things. Some of the locals and environment folks aren't real keen about the mine spinning up. Those same people also said they understand how important it is for everyone and the government was backing it so it meant to them it was a done deal. Also miner associations and such can't wait for this to get rolling. Huge spin off for such a little place.
They just want to ensure that COP doesn't steam roll in there and not follow the rules/laws laid forth. I don't think that's going to be a issue.
