Sad because that conversation has been had multiple times over the last year, and the Company continues to insist that it is much more than a Covid play and will benefit from a return to normality because testing for things other than Covid will return to normal. In fact they are certain there is a hangover from the lack of testing for other things over the past two years.
Regardless of what they say however, you imply that the market sees it as a pure Covid play.
If in fact your are right, (and I suspect to a degree that you are), the only proof is to see positive results in a post pandemic world I guess.
That, or another wave of new and unknown variant, which frankly I dont think anybody wants or needs.
It is hard to watch the stock price so far in 2022 so far, I will admit to that.
