email message I sent to the attention of David Whittle
I am sending you this email regarding the proposed purchase by MPVD of KDI at a share value level that is almost even. It seems ridiculous that a fully commercially profitable operating mine such as MPVD is the almost same value as an exploration company that has not proven itself. Between my spouse and I, we hold a fairly substantial amount of shares which we have been accumulating for almost 19 years in expectation of realizing a decent return in our lifetime. As well, we still hold a small amount of KDI shares. While following both companies on the stock exchanges over the years it appeared that KDI share prices seemed to be supported while MPVD share prices seemed obviously manipulated to keep them low. This recent announcement of purchase leads me to believe that all this was being done for the benefit of one large shareholder. You and your BOD have a fiduciary obligation to ALL of the shareholders not just the largest. I understand that both the Ontario Securities Commission and SEC have been asked to look at this deal. If my thinking of this is incorrect, I would appreciate a reply explaining why this purchase is so important to be done at this time. A Concerned Retail Investor, (signed with my actual name)
