MRC Buying up all shares
I pity anyone short on this REIT as the available float shrinks daily with MRC scooping all the shares.
Remember the properties have net asset value exceeding $18, excluding inflation. With inflation adjustment, these properties are worth more than $20 a share.

You absolutely correct...MRC is practically eating their lunch, one bite at a time. Short sellers are usually very strategic. The last time i looked on yahoo finance there was still 1.6 million short, down from over 2 million last year. Not sure what they have been seeing. The last years financial results and cash flow was decent.
