RE:Nano and Green supply chain Green Yes this report will supplement the "design once, build many" detailed engineering report (due to be published mid-2024).
Until we have finallized design estimates and construction drawings, it might not be likely that a multi-billion dollar facility will be announcing adoption of one pot.
But 100% agree that One Pot process technology wins in many ways when in comes to an environmental evaluation. Now we just need to better understand:
a) What is looks like (detailed design of modular One Pot line and example of two (2) to five (5) line One Pot CAM facilities). 12,500 TPa per line.
b) How much it costs (TIC per TPa for various number of line facility options).
c) Schedule to construct (detailing a few options for location and size including at Candiac where a brown field site with exiternal supply chain infrastructures already operating).
Mid-2024 is when Dan said this type of information will become public. That's right around the corner (four short more months). And if Nano is that close to being complete the "design once build many" report, then Nano's partner(s) will have likely already seen design model reviews and sample drawings and cost/estimate reports detailing this type and level of information.
So a partnership announcement between Nano and a Tier-1 is likey expected/coming around mid-2024.
I expect a very small/modest and strategic offtake announcement from Nano. Probably something comparable to what Novonix announced (Novonix announced a partnership with Panosonic for a modest minimum 10,000 TPa total green anode over a four year period). Nano will likely announce a partnership to construct something that can be built and placed into operations relatively fast to fully demonstrate a state-of-the-art, fully functioning, Nano One, One Pot Line in full throttle at commercial scale. And a Tier-1 partnership.
Perhaps Nano will announce a two (2) line facility with a competent workforce who are already mobilized to get the ball rolling. To be in service by Q1 2026.
That would help Nano keep up with their peers. Many of Nano's peers have already announced key commercial contracts and construction projects over 2023 and so far into 2024.
