Nevada Copper Corp is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in the development, operation, and exploration of its copper project (the Project) at its Pumpkin Hollow Property (the Property) in Western Nevada, United States of America. Its two fully permitted projects include the high-grade Underground Mine and processing facility, which is undergoing a restart of operations, and a large-scale open pit PFS stage project. The Property is located in northwestern Nevada and consists of approximately 24,300 acres of contiguous mineral rights including approximately 10,800 acres of owned private land and leased patented claims. Pumpkin Hollow is located approximately 8 miles southeast of the small town of Yerington, Nevada in Lyon County, one- and one-half hours drive southeast of Reno. The Company’s wholly owned subsidiary is Nevada Copper, Inc.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:change of controlChange of control means someone other than Pala ends up owning more than 50%. That can only occur if Pala sells most or all its stake, either directly or through issuing tremendous numbers of shares.
 Pala would only do that if it gets some profit on the long term investment it has already made.

My rough guess is that they will have an average share price somewhere around .80 to 1.00 Cdn after the current financial package is in place.

If there is a change of ownership, that may mean a commitment to proceed on the open pit, or it may mean simply that Pala is mostly walking away after a long struggle.

It may mean Solway, or some major mining company like Rio Tinto, or some other major seeking to enter the Yerington district. 

Lots of uncertainties here.
