September 21, 2021 a 10:1 Reverse Stock Split occured when shares outstanding stood at 1.8 billion... and less than 2 months later, a public offering occurs for about 125 million CAD...
If the RSS 10:1 didn't occur, the November 2021 offering would have added 1,623,376,623 (1.62 billion) shares for a total of 3.4 billion outstanding shares and a share price of .083 CAD / share...with a market cap of 285 million CAD November 30, 2021.
This observation suggests that management knew well ahead of the financing, that more funding would have been needed and to issue 1.62 billion new shares would have been ridiculous...
This RSS also permitted traders (and traders with inside information) to continue shorting this stock back down to close to pre RSS share price (where it is today)
