Initial response from Mike Heatwole, VP Public Affairs at Pebble Ltd. Partnership. He states that there were "questionable ethics at play" and that Pebble will "determine if any laws were broken by this despicable and abusive tactic."

That's fine but they need to repsond more specifically to the allgeations/inferences made...specifically about their relationships with others.  That was the most "damaging" part of the interview.  All the other stuff is bullish information and most of it was already known/understood by all parties.

A good reply would be: "We made statements during the conference call alluding to the variety of realtionships we have developed over the years pursuing permitting for this mine.  We vaue those realtionships deeply.  We had no intent to give the impression that somehow those realtionships would make the pathway to permit easier.  We've always said we'll let the science ...more

no because then it looks like youre guilty of something and have something to defend.  theyre handling it right.  going on the offensive and putting them on the defensive.  and also they were despicable tactics.  Disgusting and desperate.  they should be ashamed.  nothing they said showed corruption
