The K-Forte MAPA certification gives a minimum guarantee of 8% K2O, see cert here:
https://sistemasweb3.agricultura.gov.br/sipe/consultarCertificadoRegistroEstabelecimentoProd!abrirForm.action
Use check code: V69C-VEPZ-A3JZ-7FUF
However, Verde advertise and sell straight K-Forte as 10% K2O
The example I gave for BAKs was K-Forte cut with 5% Sulfur and 0.2% Boron. Adding these quantities of nutrients would not increase total K2O, they would decrease the total K2O.
Click the BAKs example on the Verde online example and scoll down to the 'Table of Warranties':
K2O total = 10.29%
K2O soluable = 4.54% (in Tartaric acid....)
K2O souluable = 1.20% (in water)
The 1.2% is KCl.
Compare the above with the warranties for straight K-Forte.
So yes, I would say the green credentials appear to be, not so green?
For today at least?
