Over on the De Grey board on Hotcopper, Johnathon C and others have commented on a big player flying over the area recently (and something seems to be happening in the Egina area near Whim Creek?). Reading between the lines and the denials, my guess is Newmont is targeting something with DEG.

Johnathan C also stated that DeGrey was now his largest holding.  It's no longer "Novo and Novo", a response he gave as his largest recommended holding a few months ago.

That's probably why he wrote 'Degrey is now my largest AUSTRALIAN holding'. Scrolling vs reading. Seeing what you want vs seeing what is really there...

Glad to see others awake. Regarding JC's 'NVO stash', I believe he has about 450,000 shares NVO. So to have a larger amount invested in DEG would mean he would own almost 4% of DEG...
