PERFECT TIMING?AS OF THIS MORNING:
The US dollar is in the crapper (USDX is below 90 now, and trending lower). Will it eventually hit about 70, as it has in the past?
Gold is over 1,900/ounce again, and tredning up. TA analysts?
Novo is due to give us news on Egina - or news of a short delay at maybe?.
First day of trading on the TSX.
In a few weeks, Novo will no longer just be an "exploration" stock - it will be a producer, with MULTIPLE future runs up (and down) the famous Lassonde Curve with all its potential properties (Karatha, Egina, BC proximity, etc.) - observation courtesy of a very astute poster this weekend. Somebody will find out about the FIRST dore bar being poured or something concerning head grades - wo watch for sudden, unexplained moves in the share price.
Novo (and other gold stocks) have been beaten down pretty good during this year's tax loss selling.
A probable Biden presidency will eventually prove to be aviation fuel on the fire.
Will this be a memorable week or year for us longs?
I don't know for sure - but if we continue to trade sideways (or even further down) I will defintely look upon it as an opportunity to buy more. Very nice people will respectfully disagree with me, but God be with them.
