This pays a 8 % div and that 3 % extra , seems to be underpriced  for the demand of dividends these days by a lot of investors. This  should get back  to that $ 13  level next few qtrs.. Comments like this  below  are meant to scare investors and put negative sentiment on the  S / P . As you saw div was not cut  SargeX (10104)  ...more

The divy wasn't cut this month but there's still a ways to go in 2023. Keep in mind that the AFFO payout ratio is over 100% and these guys have lots of variable rate debt. I'm actually still a holder but have sold just over half of our position and put it into more reliable dividend payers (utilities, midstream, telcos)

Dont disagree but rate of interest rate hikes is tapering down as inflation falls . Secondly due to inflation indexed rents AFFO will increase

Hey Canuck There definitely is a possibility that NWH can make things work and not have to cut the divy. Time will tell but as described below, I've decided not to wait around with a full position any more. My wfe & I have been retired since 2013 and livie off dividend income, OAS, and CPP. Our strategy has been to be 100% invested in TSX listed dividend income/growth stocks in 5 sectors ...more

Hi Sarge   thx for your take . My situation is a bit different . I went through a divorce where my ex took everything in 2020 .  Luckily my LoC was empty ,so i maxed 350k LoC to buy Athabasca Oil ,Baytex ,CVE ,Suncor , BPY.UN . ERE.UN .I sold all of BPY.UN , ERE.UN ,Boardwalk and Minto in 2021 and bought more of Baytex n Athabasca. That 350k was worth 5 million in 2022 June when I sold ...more
