@Malcolm2001, yes in the long run you are probably right but being too early unfortunately means being wrong in investing. People who bought depressed uranium stocks in 2012 were too early and therefore ultimately wrong. The same goes for Tesla investors who will get crushed by that massive 60 B valuation in a correction. Yes, of course in 10-20 years electric cars could be a large part of the market. But within 5-10 years, there is not enough infrastructure for charging stations, limited range on the cars, and limited supply of metals required for the batteries ect to make electric cars dominant. I don't think Volvo will follow through on that commitment just like Tesla couldn't follow through on Elon Musk's commitments on Model 3 production. I told a friend of mine who is a very bright engineer and major Elon Musk fan that 6 months ago and even he agreed with me.
