Kavern's OBE's Oct updateI been on this board in awhile and I am always a very blunt person. I don't like to post unless I have something positive to say but I wasn't a fan of OBE's July, August and Sept. I knew they werent tieing much in as they didnt work through break up. But even with summer I didnt care for it, I thought bluesky and Viking drilling were quite good but Willy Green was kinda weak and Pembina was fine as it is cheaper wells there. In Sept for ex...OBE top 9 wells were either PROP, Viking or Bigoray...and well they are nice wells...OBE realsitically needs Cardium wells in it's top 9 to really hum along.
However OBE's October looks good. On right track again. Obe went from having 4 wells over 190 barrels of oil per day in Sept to 9 oil wells in Oct over 190 a day. Willy had a 502 barrel oil a day and 252 and 265 oil not counting any gas...back on track. Plus I seen other willy wells. Improved alot. Seal looks fine as well. But Viking is most economic drlling they did...that step out well did 177 barrels of oil in oct...really good as they are cheaper. Even others still producing decent.
Step out well is really good news as undrilled all around that 4-22 well. Could be lots of drilling locations. Baytex did a only well in area and didnt do that well but OBE did. Oil pool likely goes west and OBE owns lots undeveloped. Promising. OBE likely dives back into drilling more viking in 2023.

The 253 Cardium well has about 60% monthly hours so it is well over 300.
