Growing Alberta Companies
Let's do a quick test on how is growing and how fast.......at a high level.....
Quick way....
Usually 1 rig per 10000 BOE per day and company still has moderate growth...good rule of thumb....
Baytex: 7 rigs drilling in western canada and not sure on USA side. Say 1 here in USA.
so at 8 rigs per 80,000 BOE...baytex is growing on that. Baytex is a good candiate to beat guidance...should grow well with that.
YGR: 1rig to aorund 10000 BOE...grow on that
TVE: 6 rigs and dont they have 40k boe...they should really grow right now
Cardinal energy has 3 rigs going and they dont drill much lol.
All shows why BNE isnt that appealing....
Only using 1 rig to what 14k boe....really light. BNE very limited on what they can grow with only 1 rig supporting 14k. If they could afford it I am sure they go to 2.
OBE having 4 rigs on 30k to support...grow really good...
OBE is using 1 rig per 7500 BOE...stellar...we should beat guidance with 4....

I think we can all agree that almost all Cardium players are under valued. IPO's share success is not because investor's are misinformed about their fundamentals, they are just better informed while the market is oblivious about players like OBE and YGR. That will change. IPO may be leading the charge that leads to awareness about the others.
