predictions and newsOkay here we go;
Everyone is worried about syb,"Don't!" The problem if any will just go away soon enough.One can speculate in syb if you want because it would probabally take a pop up on any positive news that either onc or syb would make.One thing to remember now is that syb is just a holding company now,and, generally holding companies will trade at a discount to the market. It's just the nature of the beast.
Of note to remember is that people south of us are just sitting and waiting for positive phase 1 results. This has been stated before by onc management. Lots of money waiting for a place to go.
I am not trying to pump up onc,usually I just stick as close to the facts as I can. With all that we know to date can anyone actually think of anything negative that onc could announce.We must remember that they are a speculative company and with that always comes associated risks.Buyer beware and all that,but this can happen with any company.Nortel,Rim,the list goes on.(This is not a direct comparison to these companies,it's just to show that there is risk with any company no matter how solid it may appear.)
Onc has stated on numerous occasions that they have not reached a toxic level yet.They don't know if there really is one.So this bodes well already for phase 1 news release.I know that we all want efficacy also and this will happen most likely on an interim basis as results will still be coming in from patients in the later stages of the trials.
Remember to be able to break down the efficacy results patient by patient as they come in because not all cancers are ras-activated.
I still think a pharma will happen early q1-2002.
AND-NEWS that we want-sooner than you think!
Good luck to all and please be prudent with your investments.
