Oncolytics Biotech Inc T.ONC

Alternate Symbol(s):  ONCY

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. is a biotechnology company. The Company is focused on developing pelareorep, an intravenously delivered immunotherapeutic agent that activates the innate and adaptive immune systems and weakens tumor defense mechanisms. This compound induces anti-cancer immune responses and promotes an inflamed tumor phenotype turning cold tumors hot through innate and adaptive immune responses to treat a variety of cancers. This improves the ability of the immune system to fight cancer, making tumors more susceptible to a broad range of oncology treatments. The Company’s primary focus is to advance its programs in hormone receptor-positive / human epidermal growth factor 2- negative (HR+/HER2-) metastatic breast cancer and advanced/metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to phase 3 licensure-enabling studies. In addition, it is exploring opportunities for registrational programs in other gastrointestinal cancers through its GOBLET platform study.

ONC

ONCBe careful about jumping in too quickly into syb.Remember that they are a holding company now and that's all and that the shares will generally trade at a discount. You might think that it is a good deal, but one should stick to onc for the pure play although SYB does provide leverage at this point. I don't really think that we will be seeing syb hang around, especially in in present form for the next 2 years as some suggest.I'm not saying don't buy syb, just saying be careful. A question for all. Does anyone think that there is a conflict of interest with two syb people on the onc board and no onc members on the syb board? In other words syb will always know what's going on but will onc? Just curious on your thoughts. Maybe they should step aside. Don't know for sure. Inthno
