This podcast may be the first time I've ever heard Coffey stress buyout over partnership. Towards the end, when he admits he'd like to see Pela/Onc acquired by BP so that they, with their infinite resources, can test Pela in even more indications. should make us all ecstatic. @fox. First, let me say I liked the talk. I am not sure you heard MC exactly as spoken. In reference to Phase 3, he clearly states we would like to partner in it, play an active roll. That was spoken roughly half way through. At the end of the talk he mentions buyout by pharma. He has some weight off his shoulders thanks to GOBLET, and naturally it will be tough to let go if ONC is bought out. I

I heard Matt fine, and of course, i heard the partnership talk, but I'm referencing the latter stages of the podcast where he suggests he'd like to see this story end in BP acquisition. BP can test Pela in any number of indications.

If a buyout is successfully completed, Matt C will have tonnes to do managing the millions that will flow from his options. He can find lots of things to do in the biotech world after this business has matured and been sold. And Matt does not make decisions regarding sale or buyout. It is the board.
