What's in it for us??

I am reading through the release and trying to figure out how this benefits current shareholders?

Thoughts anyone?

OR was trading $12.90 on sep 3, 2019, days before the announced take out of Barkerville.  Theoretical value increase in royalty companies since that date averaged approx. + 46% Translate projected price appreciation into OR =  $18.80 current price after announcement  $16.55.  underperformance relative to group (13.6%) narrow the gap....yeah Still not sure what the implied ...more

I would assume once it all closes they will spin off at least 60% of the shares to us

Its a very good move by management.Since buying Barkerville OR has underperformed the other royalty cos as investors were confused if OR was transforming into a developer/producer. Its clear now they arent and I would expect the share price to outperform. BUY.
