BNN news very positive!

I just saw the BNN story on T.PIH. With these numbers, I wouild think it should be trading much higher. Can anyone guess why its still trading this low?

I can think of three points to answer your question. Market Cap – this is a smaller cap name under 100M so the number of people looking at the name would be smaller.  As the company grows its will come up on more investors radar. Shareholder Base – this kind of goes with point 1 but like it or not it takes institutional money to move a stock materially higher and reduce the valuation ...more

I agree with all what you pointed out.. This is why retail microcap investors like us have advantage over funds.. Only less than 7M shares out here so it's hard for funds to establish position quickly or some will avoid because they won't be able exit if anything negative develops.. I bought as high as $8 as story kept getting better and better.. I am now 15% and will hold as long as story ...more

Of the 7.3MM or so fully diluted shares outstanding you have to deduct about 30% held by insiders. The float is truly small and with the recent credit arrangements it hardly seems likely they will do another unit issue (brokered or not) UNLESS they see an acquisition opportunity...of which I have no idea, but the field is large, with multinational (Phillips) and private companies (Grote).
