They Prepping for a buyout?

They Prepping for a buyout?I guess so much for a tentative or potential merger of Paramount & Nuvista, something that i've been expecting for almost 3 years now. After this news of Paramount divesting itself of a portion of it's holdings in Nuvista, though not surprising at this point anymore, it makes that LESS likely now or even DOA. Especially coming AFTER their two recent asset divestitures in Kaybob over the past two years. But it does makes aTOTAL buyout more likely now........more than ever.

I've pegged & predicted Paramount as a strong "potential" buyout candidate since 2020, along side 5 others. Since that time, 3 of the 6 i predicted were boughtout in the last 4 years. Those included Painted Pony, Crew, Nuvista, Lucrotta & Pipestone.  Now only 3 remain.....and FULLY expect them to be boughtout or merge somewhere in the next 48 months as well.

Who could be the buyer? There could be 2 possibilities here,Arc & Canadian UnNatural. But if ihadto place abet on who would be more likely, i'd gamble on Arc. Arc needs something like Paramount much more than Cnq. And Cnq doesn't like to pay ANYTHING close to fair value. Cnq only buysdirt cheap when the opportunity arises. Arc is more hungry and needs desperately an acquisition THIS year. And Paramount fits the bill for them....perfectly. So look for Arc to either take a shot at Paramount OR Whitecap. It's 50/50 as far as odds go......
