PPL is doing very well these days. The dividend is very sweet and monthly , to boot. Those tribalists who hyperventilate over Trudeau talking his book 10 or 12 years ago should listen to the song "This land is your land, this land is my land." He is saying that Canada belongs to Quebecers, as much as it belongs to Albertans and Maritimers and all Canadians. Canada is ours, all Canadians can claim Canada as theirs.The right wing Yahoo in the video tries to make it something arrogant and overreaching. I didn't vote for Trudeau in any of the last 3 elections, but millions did, and we do live in a democracy, thank God. Lighten up, have a drink on me!

PPL has about 61% institutional ownership, including many of the big Canadian banks, Vanguard and Blackstone and many others. The number of institutions holding PPL is about 335, owning a total of about 334 million shares out of about 550 million if I remember right. Institutions have a better research department than the average retail investor, so I see this as a positive if one is looking for a
