PPR, NAFTA and the $180 million compensation

Looking forward to updates from the NAFTA case and the $180 million. The compensation will move PPR a lot. It's about time that we have some news from the jury.

I would not hold my breath, however, as this arbitration was filed in September 2013, that's 10 years ago.  And the claim is for $118,000,000.  Not sure what any settlement would do to account for inflation.

If the debt and the production numbers remain on their current trajectories PPR will be lucky to be around long enough to realize the benefit of a settlement, if any.

The case is for $180 million, not $110 million. Do your research to confirm.

The NAFTA claim is for $118.9 US. (About $158 mill Cdn) https://www.international.gc.ca/trade-agreements-accords-commerciaux/topics-domaines/disp-diff/lone.aspx?lang=eng
