Not quite sure what's behind today's action and heavy volume, but it's a good day for anyone long PSD.

Shorts on the other hand will be scurrying for cover..

I have kind of wondered why PSD took so long to get to this level.  It is kind of a perfect hedge.  If oil and gas prices are high, they get lots of business selling existing surveys.  If  oil and gas prices are low they get lots of transactional sales from companies that merge together to cut costs.   They might be getting a nice payday as well from the recent ...more

This is an interesting play because of its characteristics; as you say, it is kind of a perfect hedge. If they don't make any sales, they can tick over for a good while without going bust. However, if they make a decent data sale, it'll be payday in a big way. We just don't know if, or when, that will happen.
