Drosrite "delays"Are they really delays or is there something more happening? In their NR regarding the new aluminum division they mentioned 5 main offerings 1) Drosrite sales and tolling. 2) valorization of downstream dross residues. 3) upstream applications 4) Pyrogenesis's plasma torches to replace fossil fuel burners 5) repurposing pot liner residues. First of all what are the upstream applications? Initially I thought they were the pot liner residues and the plasma torches but they mention them separately so not them. They go on to state "the recent success of our yet-to-be-announced upstream applications" so these upstream applications are yet to be announced and they are having success with them. I believe they have been working on encorporating multiple new technologies to their Drosrite offerings and including them in their deals with Aluminum smelters.
PyroGenesis Announces Formation of "PyroGenesis Aluminum" Division Dedicated to Serving the Aluminum Industry | 2021-10-20 | Press Releases | Stockhouse So they have to now include potliner residue, "upstream applications", plasma torches and Drosrite residue valorization. This would take some time but they already have a plant identified in the Gulf region for the Drosrite residue and discussions to secure and process those residues have already taken place.
PyroGenesis Signs Joint-Venture Agreement to Build and Operate Plants to Convert Aluminum Dross Residues into High Value Chemical Products | 2021-09-27 | Press Releases | Stockhouse I think the next announcement regarding Drosrite will include all of these applications including plasma torches and will probably include the new plant for processing the Drosrite residues. I would like to know what the upstream applications are.
