Have you never heard of Joint Tennancy with Rights of Survivorship ?

It avoids the need for probate, and the associated fees.

Join tenancy and right of survivorship ONLY applies to property .   Stop your nonsense.  

IF there is no will ....the person dies intsetate  therefore w intestate succession rules.  Spouse is the inheritor.  So STOP assuming all this nonsense.
