US Military

Hi all,

To me, what's especially significant about the US Navy agreement that's about to be signed is that it's REPEAT BUSINESS.  PYR already has systems installed on other US Navy aircraft carriers.  It's one thing to award a contract to a company, but to award a subsequent contract after a few years of using the equipment is the highest form of validation.

Regards,

Snowdrift

Very good point. It is the validation of PYR as a company as a whole, Product  Sales Service This is what gets you validated by the US Navy and gets you the repeat business as you stated. This can only help with all other branches of PYR. If a customer is thinking, "Can these guys perform and fill our needs?" Well if their product works on a US Navy nuclear aircraft carrier and they ...more

Thanks for replying, Carson.  You're the only one who did (except for the jerk who was trying to push some other stock).  I was beginning to think nobody agreed with me.  It's great to know someone else shares my opinion. Have a nice weekend! Snowdrift

All Good Snowy, The value from the US Navy Contract, while cash is good, comes from the vetting and re-approval of PYR. IMO. It doesn't get any better then having the faith of a MAJOR entity like that in your product and company. Have a good weekend Longs Tip of the Iceberg!

Snowdrift, you and carsoneginic had great posts thanks for those points. I thought you nailed your point and couldn't see anything else to add. I did give a thumbs up which your original post got 9 in total. I look at it as 9 people agreed with you. This is how I see it anyway.

Hi MakeItRain, It's so great to have a bunch of thumbs up.  I never saw them.  I'm not too familiar with the boards and I don't have Instagram or Facebook or any other social media account.  So I'm not used to looking for thumbs up. Anyway, I don't want all of you to think I'm insecure.  I'm just happy to know that people agree with my point. Here ...more

I totally agree Snowdrift...thanks for highlighting the important fact that USA Military already had PYR systems before and having repeat business is incredible as this new aircraft carrier requires new very strigent specs that PYR had to engineer.  For the USA Navy/Military to design the carrier with PYR waste destruction system in the designs is nothing short of incredible.  This is a ...more

Do you think the navy would sign exclusive military use with Pyrogenesis? Just s curiosity and it doesn't really effect much, but would the US navy allow other international military forces to have the fame tech they use? Is it possible we build into other military and non military marine units? I'm guessing until they are forced by legislature that it wouldn't be cost effective to use ...more

@Aarman4,    Actually waste dumping at sea has been heavily regulated since 31 December 1988 when Annex 5 of Marpol went into effect. The dumping of plastic waste of any type overboard was prohibited and other types were permitted to be disposed of only after certain distances offshore were reached. The majority of the deepsea ships began fitting incinerators fairly quickly after that ...more

Thanks for the excellent info.. Could it be the same PAWDS that was installed on Carnival Cruise ship MV Fantasy?  PYR has a good relationship with Fincatieri, an italian ship builder for Carnival.
