You are right. It's adding to Pyr bottom line as Hpq moves up. Peter can also take the opportunity anytime to increase their position in HPQ NANO to 50% if it's a huge success.

PYR made $15MM income (0.10 eps) on the HPQ investment between end of Q2 (July 31) and Q3 (Sept 30), on HPQ share price going from 0.21 to 0.42 — a 100% increase. Since Sept 30 it's gone from 0.42 to 0.91 as of this post, or 117% increase. About 17.5MM income for the quarter, or just over 0.11 EPS —- just from owning HPQ shares.

PitPit I must admit I did the same thing last week when PYR was around $3 and HPQ around 0.75 cents. I think PYR is the true monster but I play whichever one seems undervalued on any given week.

Both companies are great however it is easier for HPQ to double or triple or like my shares 10x plus. Not sellings any of my shares in either company until they reach my get out point mainly to not get red flagged as a day trader in my TFSA

I'll have to look up TFSA rules as well. I bought a healthy chunk of HPQ at around 0.10$ roughly 4 years ago and never sold a share. I wonder if having over a million dollars in your TFSA automatically raises flags even though it was a risky long term investment.

Yes I agree. If they have and EPS for the quarter of .20, that means they did .11 from HPQ and .09 from their other business. If they do .11, then they have done 0 from their other business.

Okay, my estimate was simply 'back of the hankerchief' so-to-speak. I'm a retired engineer, not accountant, so would appreciate if anybody else has estimated the Q4 EPS impact for strategic investments (HPQ shares & warrants) which results from the 0.69 rise in HPQ's sp during Q4. Seems to me it should be multiples of the 0.10 eps reported for Q3.

Last I checked, Pyro held about 52mm shares and warrants of HPQ, worth over $47mm at $0.90
