No secret clients for Rio Tinto

Rio Tinto's Labrador operations indicated in an info in March 2022 that they had purchased 4 torches in 2021. This dovetails with PYR's Client +++ announcing a sale on or about the same time. RT must have bought PYR torches. If the buyer is not keeping it a secret, why would the seller?

Nice find!  I personally had not seen that article before. More evidence that Client B is Rio Tinto

September 14th, 2021: "Client B has advised PyroGenesis that, upon the successful implementation of the torches announced today, the subsequent orders are expected to be for approximately 130 plasma torches. Notwithstanding this, there is no guarantee that such orders will be placed. The schedule to implement these future orders remains to be determined." I'm wondering if " ...more

Tamarackflop still trying hard. Unable to move to another stock.  He's been trying so intensively to FUD investors that he came to believe his own lies! What a phony clown!

That might explain why the backlog dropped $9.3 million in the third quarter when revenues were only $5.7 million. Maybe orders were cancelled for "failure to deliver in a timely manner" They don't have the money to fulfill orders anyway. I'm amazed that the pumpers here completely ignored the fact that backlog dropped nearly twice as much as revenues. A stark warning ...more

Goodmorning all. Long time holder, first time poster. I am an employee with Rio Tinto, Kitimat plant. You have no idea how slow moving giants like RT are. They don't talk in months. layers upon layers of engineering, safety concerns, departmental budgets within overall budgets and approvals  Make no mistake, when they commit to projects they go in full tilt.

Oh Boys! KaizerSoze just made the recent Tamarackflop's FUD post look like an amateur! Tamarackflop's FUD debunked one more time.  This time by a RioTinto employee! Parhetic Tamarackflop!  Any lie to try to make a buck! _____________   KaizerSoze - (1/26/2023 12:09:23 PM) RE:RE:No secret clients for Rio Tinto Goodmorning all. Long time holder, ...more

Great posts KaizerSoze, thanks for these.  My Dad worked at the Alcan Aluminum Smelter in Kitimat in the late 1960s to the mid-1970s (back then it was Alcan, Rio Tinto bought out the Kitimat smelter years later).  (My parents actually met at the Kitimat Hotel).   You bring up a great point that when large corporations (giants) like Rio Tinto commit to projects, they go full ...more

@ BCONTVentures... nice to hear about your connection with Kitimat and your dad working at Uncle Al (Alcan) as we used to call it before the RT buyout. Many who are not familiar with the smelter here is that it's fed by free electricity fed by the powerhouse in Kemano which is down the Douglas channel. They also sell power to BC Hydro and a subsidiary company Frontex which sells or used to ...more

Carbon tax and punitive financial measures will bring these large industries to full submission to adopt GHG emissions reduction friendly solutions. Pyrogenesis is going to be very well positioned in numerous very large industries.

That's right Bcontventures, my timing was off, a tad premature....but it's happening now week by week we are getting there....Maybe a package deal with Rio Tinto for drosrite recovery...I'd say this is a logical addition to a torch deal...which further reduces the GHG emissions...the name of the game right now... There won't just be one big torch contract , there will be many ...more

Exactly Kaizer. RT and others are slow moving giants. It will take years for all this to come to fruition. Perhaps in 2 or 3 years, PYR will reach its full potential. Patience is needed by all.
