What is the case for investing in PYR?

This company was promoted on another board by a promoter-science.

But following this it appears more and more to me to be a highly speculative venture with questions lingering about the management and finacials :

“The AMF alleges that Mr. Pascali was in breach of section 199.1(2) of the Securities Act (Qubec), that Mr. Pascali and the Company made misrepresentations in breach of sections 196 and 197 of the Securities Act (Qubec), that Mr. Pascali and the Company failed to comply with certain disclosure obligations under applicable securities legislation, and that Mr. Pascali and Mr. Curleigh failed to comply with their fiduciary duties as directors of the Company. The AMF is seeking administrative penalties totaling $4.20 million against Mr. Pascali, and a disgorgement order of $9.57 million to the AMF also from Mr. Pascali. The AMF is also seeking administrative penalties totaling $550,000 against the Company. Separately, the AMF is also seeking orders prohibiting Mr. Pascali and Mr. Curleigh to act as an officer or director of a reporting issuer for 5 years.’

 

Considering the recent financials with net working capital of $1.7 million, and ongoing 30 million + losses annually, and question of  can they remain solvent?

 

What am I missing?

I am staying clear of this company.

To be clear: 1. I only knew of this company when a promoter of this company, "science first" promoted this on another stockboard 2. I am an fact based investor  3. What you interpret as a negative slant, is my reporting of facts, based on regulatory filings. If this bothers you complain to PYR AND REGULATORY AUTHORITIES THAT produce this information 4. I am organized in my approach to equities yes. In terms of motivation, I dont post here much,usually when there is material information (such as tyhe recent allegations by regulatory authorities to this company). It helps me reevaluate my initial assessment, and learn from that-an iterative process. I've learned a lot about the behavioural aspects of investing and speculating from boards

I think 2023 has been very successful so far.  The share price may not reflect these advances, but clearly, there are advances (eg. SPARC, the new 4.5MW torch, the 2 contracts with Aluminerie Alouette, 3D Powders/Additive Manufacturing, the 4 torches being trialed by Rio/IOC, etc.). It is not the size of the contracts (big contracts will come), it is the validation of the technology.

Revenues in the first 6 months have dropped 45% from $10.1 million last year to $5.6 million this year, and the AMF is seeking to have P3 and Alan Curleigh barred from being an officer or director of a public company for 5 years. Backlog has dropped 4% from 35.3 million to $33.9 million, hardly rocketing to $50 million and beyond.&

PYR's business potential has drastically increased during the past couple of years, look at the new markets PYR has entered, new patents filed/granted, the second production facility coming online, and the growth in employee headcount. From PyroGenesis' Annual Information Form (AIF), this describes each of PYR's product offerings/solutions (keep in mind that a number of these
