I would be easy to hit a low bid for 100 shares and with the spreads quite wide on occasion you could make it look a lot worse than it is. I have seen a lot of it in penny stocks and it is cheaper to do. It cost more to play that game now but not that much for 100 shares. The 2 bashers here could be part of it as I said before you can make a few bucks swing trading this stock but not much with the low volume we have. Probably bigger players like you say. I have swing traded in the past on say 10000 shares say in the 3 to 4 dollar range. 5 to 15 cents is a decent return for a days work with todays low commissions. But you need decent volume.
