RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Reminder... what the Apple win is worthIm sorry you feel they are negative, only posting the facts.
And you are way off side in thinking no one would buy our patents. The laws work differently in patent courts in the EU and Asia.
You see a company like Qualcomm was able to get paid because they has patents filed in those countries and were able to get products banned implemented by the courts in China and Germany which forced Apple's hand to fold and pay up in record time.
These laws were removed from the courts by FAANG in the United States and can not be aplied by a company thats based in North America, but are avaiulable to companies in the EU and Asia that have similar patents that could be parlayed with their own IPs. SK Telecom, Huawei comes to mind or even Samsung, or even Vodafone could benefit from WiLANs IPs.
So you are incorrent in thinking my post implies that our patents have no value. But on the contrary, they could be worth much more to the right buyer and would see a much faster RoI then what limited court plays FAANG has left us with.
A $350-$400Mil US would be a fair value but im sure many would be ok with a $300Mil US. Lets keep it real and understand there are many variables that we must fact in.
