Our ITS way undervalued????

stock                           Market  Cap              Earnings ( Yahoo Finance)

Rekor                             268                            -0.65
Iteris                               177                            -0.05
Kapsch                           183                            -3.53

ETC WHEN BOUGHT PROJECTED  12 TO 15 MILLION  EPITDA  ANNUAL
IRD   PROJECTED                               9   MILLION           EPITDA  ANNUAL

Wilan needs to be divested to  increase our ITS value.

Just imagine what proceeds of Apple and Wilan could do for our expansion.????

Our ITS currently is probably worth more than our current price of $ 2.68.based upon above companies.
Any annoucements of ETC and IRD will increase our ITS.

Apple and sale of Wilan IMO come for nothing.  Ridiculous and when will market realize our value..?????

Been going on for years.  Nothing new. And why even the old guard here want Wilan sold.

hate to say, especially with the history on us on the Nasdaq, but to get our fair value we may have to list south of the boarder. The TSX is for canadian type investments like materials, oil and gas, banks etc.

joey67, i do agree its been painful but i believe we have now focused the company, made a transition (very skillfully i must say) and are heading in the right direction. im supportive at this point and will continue as a shareholder as long as this laser focus continues.

Whaler83-  I fully agree with you that we must list south of border.

The idea that we need to re-list on the NASDAQ pops up here from time to time. I will continue to argue that this would be a mistake. Aside from it being very expensive (roughly US$ 1 million per year) and a big hassle, it is doubtful that it would provide any valuation benefit. A few months ago I cited the example of Nuvei which, a little over a year ago, chose not to list in the US (Canada ...more

ETC is their flagship company. its US based. Majority of our large contracts are comming from the USA. Bidens huge infrastructure plan in to spend omney in the USA. we need a senior USA listing and an official USA head quarters. move this ship down south. Canada is not supportive of us...sorry

I appreciate your perspective on this mrmoribund, but I respectfully disagree.  A USA listing, with the right story (which I believe QTRH has this time around) will accelerate re-rating to 15X EBITDA, or greater, and enhance liquidity. My prediction: QTRH, with the right warchest from Apple/Wilan, will acquire a US publically listed ITS platform (may be postured as a "merger") that ...more

We will probably become an US. company with the name change that was mentioned earlier, to maybe ETC. Maybe we will keep our Canadian listing.

Lagger, I believe, like you, that QTRH will morph to a US company or an international company with US headquarters.  That's okay with me.  All signals point to keeping the ITS platform-based holding company structure in the near term.  That's a smart strategy, especially in a period of rapid growth fuelled by acquisitions, as it allows high functioning management of the ...more

Brett Kidd was impressive today. I liked Paul.  Actually I liked Paul the most for the fact that he invested every $ he made into the stock. But, it is clear that Brett is a strategic operator and I see why the Board made a tough call and picked him. I hope Brett keeps the CEO track going and buying the QTRH stock as well.

Cabbie I haven't a problem QTRH with becoming an US company.  My concern is the valuation of Wilan. They mentioned keen interest in Wilan and I wonder what means. Multiple parties or one that is willing to take it off our hands? If it becomes a US company with a US board which, as I said I believe will happen, why keep a Canadian presence? Brett Kidd seems  smart  and is well ...more

Lagger, if QTRH does transition to a US company, I think it maintains its current dual listing strategy because of the investor base is largely Canadian.  In my view, a dual listing strategy will continue until there ceases to be a signifincant Canadian investor base/interest. I don't understand this discussion/objection to a US listing...QTRH is already dual listed.  The OTC board ...more

Cabbie, I'm with you on this US listing thing if you'll agree to pay the $1 million per year in additional listing and admin fees.
Comment by cabbieJBJ on Jan 13, 2022 4:24pm
If required, sure mrmoribund.  Of course, my wild speculation is that they will buy a US public company that already comes with a listing and analyst coverage etc. - so there wouldn't be significant additional listing/admin fees to speak of. As I posted earlier (Post# 34313080): My prediction: QTRH, with the right warchest from Apple/Wilan, will acquire a US publically listed ITS ...more

It's misleading to think of any company as "coming" with analyst coverage. Produce a few big quarterly results (in succession) and the analysts will come in droves. Quarterhill's results have been ho-hum for so long that shareholders have forgotten (or never knew) how to get the market (and analysts) to love you. Quarterhill will buy private companies if they are less ...more

With you MrM. Many companies just get lost in the shuffle down there and like WIN previously, they left. The shares will take care of themselves up here, eventually, even if Wilan sold.
