Not good deal ,sold 20%  below assesment land value According to BC Assessment, as of July 2023, the two parcels that make up the mall carry a combined assessed value of about $187 million, with approximately $186 million coming from the land value and just over $1 million from the value of the structures. On the surface this deal looks like a bit of a head scratcher. With earnings call in 2 weeks, the management team will definitely be questioned about this by the analysts so then we will understand the underpinnings of this deal in the fullness of time. So long as it's above NAV and they  have better use of proceeds it's no big deal... maybe they want to turn on the ncib rather than realize full potential years out
