2 wells drilled at Gold creek (Elmworth) appears underwhelming, not that much oil.  Waskahigan was better than expected. Not much reserves addition, $2+ NAV.  Gold Creek will be up and running in May.  2017 Capex plan revised to $49M.  Now owe $7M to bank.  Q4 is hard to judge because Ante Creek transaction happened mid-quarter.

The results at Gold Creek could have been better for sure. I wonder if they will drill further North West to test that area as well. Waskahigan really surprised me. 13-30 derisked the South Western portion of that acreage in my mind. They could drill 10-15 more wells with 760 bbls/d of 40-degree API crude in that area potentially. It wouldn't take many to get the liquids production up ...more

Developing Gold Creek is expensive, needs higher oil prices plus a lot stronger hands, a company with deep pockets. Good to see RMP is doing minimal work to explore/maintain the land and to build just enough infrastructure to bring those few wells into production.   The focus should be on the lower cost Waskahigan where the company can do a bit better than just maintaining production.
