Thanks for the excellent perspective. You have expressed my sentiments exactly.China now has many billionnaires and highly internationally and locally educated scientific communities. You can be sure they are highly advanced in leading scientific knowledge.
As I understand it, China holds a huge amount of American debt at this stage and they are heavily invested in many countries including countries in Africa and the Middle East.
If the CNOOC investment in Canada's oil sands is any indication of the Chinese government's willingness to take a position in Canadian oil development, then it is clear they are quite willing to take on huge short term risk for long term gain.
Given the diabetes epidemic in China and given their very good health care system I can only imagine how appealing RVX would be as an opportunity for them to jump in and eastablish leadership in epigenetics.
Thanks again. The posts on this board have really degenerated to little value of insight recently so it was helpful for me to receive your valuable insight.
