Like i said i've been to Cuba 13 since 2010 and had many dinners in cuban peoples homes and have even stayed a few nights on occassion in Cuban houses. My Dad had been going since the 70's and liked it because it was safe, but when he retired he decided to spend his winters in mexico? ANd why? because he can go out and have a nice meal without people hounding him and begging for money

If youve been to cuba 13 times im sure youve seen where they buried castro....under a rock. You bring up the past as if if matters. Its history. What cuba and sherritt for that matter needs is a path forward so the people dont have to beg any more. Do you really believe the current US policy is the path forward? Cubans where slaves of foreigner in their own country before the revolution led by Castro and Guevara.  It may not be the best political system, but today every children gets an education and access to a health system. In time, it will progress into a decent democracy but this will not happen by stigmatizing and isolating the current administration and hopefully not with another revolution.

Yes every child gets an education but when they grow up they still only get paid $30 a month and will be lucky if they have toilet paper to wipe their butt with. And health system?
